Plan for the creation of my iPad Speaker Dock

This is my final product: 

Modifications 

•  The speaker on the left had to be placed outside of the stand unlike the original design because the way that speaker is built does not make it possible to put inside.
• The green color is richer then in the original design because the recycled sticker covering was only in that color.
• The stand is on more of a tilt making the iPad easier to use and see.
• The rest for the iPad doesn't have a lip like in the design because it was unessesary.

 Evaluate

Testing of my product:

• "Yes, It is cool"
• What do you like about my product?
  
• "It is useful, creative, my favorite color and has a loud speaker so my students can hear clearly and can fit my iPad with a case."
• What don't you like about my product?
  
• "Nothing its great!"
• Is there anything I could improve about my product?
• "The location of the charging port points to the bottom of the stand making it unable to sit when plugged into the charger, it would be much better if the charging port was in a different location so that it can be charged and sit steadily."

How to improve my product:

There is one problem with my product that my client was unhappy with, this problem can be solved in 2 ways:

• Way 1
  
• I could redesign the charging cable so that it is on an angle moving out of the way of the base of the stand.

Evaluate my performance:

My performance throughout this design cycle has been standard, during the investigate section my dedication was reasonable as I managed to complete enough research to adequately and create my designs. In the design section I successfully completed 3 designs and evaluated each in some detail regarding the design specs. In the plan section I was able to create a very detailed and articulated plan, which was not followed effectively showing a lack of my dedication for that section, thus effecting my performance in my create section but in the end I managed to construct an adequate product. I procrastinated to complete my product until the end of the unit, this made it difficult for me to plan my time and make my product perfect.

How does my product make the world a better place:

My product improves the life of my client making her job easier and more efficient, it also makes her life in general easier and less complicated, this subsequently effects her student's lives making them easier and less stressful. The creation of my product has had a very effective impact on my client and her needs.
